Torture

Last Saturday we had a mean streak towards Paxton. First, we had Todd's dad dress up as Santa and torture him, then we got the awesome idea to feed Paxton a lemon. It all began when Paxton saw this stranger coming towards him...he would not change his face from this (I don't know why his hair looks red in all of these):

Poor boy...Santa traumatized him. We then had Todd's dad take off the hat and beard and Paxton immediately smiled at him and reached for him to be held. It was so funny/sad.

Fall pictures of Pax

I love how you can see Paxton looking at the leaf falling in the last picture.

Hilarious

Not going to lie, I think Paxton looks like a drug addict in this picture. He had JUST woken up from a nap and his hair had gone crazy so we took a picture of him.

Discovering Grass

Paxton discovered grass for the first time at the park. I had to go and take handfuls out of his mouth periodically in between taking pictures.

Update

Well Pax is now 7 months old. He is crawling, pulling himself up on everything, and will use a little push walker to walk across the room. He ends up with a lot more bumps and bruises now days because of it. He has 2 teeth, is working on some more, and is just a happy boy most of the time.

My mom came out and visited us for a couple of days which I absolutely LOVED. We had lots of fun shopping, eating, and hanging out together. We went to Leatherby's for the famous black and tan and Paxton tried it for the first time and loved it as well. Paxton also loved spending time with his Grammy and can't wait to see her in 4.5 weeks for Christmas time!

Todd and I bought a townhouse about a month ago and we (and his parents) have been working hard on updating it. We removed the popcorn ceiling, retextured the ceiling, painted it, have been taking down wallpaper and painting, replaced light fixtures, etc. We love it and are loving it even more now that it is becoming more our style and less like an 80 year old woman's style.

Old pictures

These are older but I like them and wanted to post them anyways. Paxton always comes into our room in the morning and plays in bed for awhile. He especially likes Saturdays and Sundays since his dad gets to play with him too. These pajamas are my favorite ones. I love all of the trucks and cars and what not. Paxton loves rolling in the sheets and covering himself. He had some crazy hair that morning and he was very sad in one of the pictures (I think his face is hilarious in it)

A tooth!

Pax got his first tooth sometime today or last night...on the bottom where I thought there was a little bump! He took my finger and stuck it in his mouth and bit me and I yelled, "He has a tooth!!" The top right tooth is also getting close (I think...but who knows how long it will actually take to come in.) Poor boy had a temperature of 101+ last night and has had one over 100 for most of the day. It doesn't help that he is teething and had shots yesterday. He is still being such a trooper and trying to be happy even though he's not feeling himself.

Love this

I found this picture as I was looking through pics on my computer. I love my boys.

Some pictures of him today

He has been loving this teething toy lately and I swore he was teething but didn't know where. Well the doctor today looked in his mouth and said oh he's teething...these two teeth will be in soon. They are his top two front teeth! Now I know I was right.

6 months old!

Guess who's 6 months old today!!!
This little boy: He is so amazing. Todd and I are extremely blessed for having Paxton and we love him like crazy. He has such a special spirit about him and is always happy. He is so fun to have around. He is so interested in everything and he has already been crawling around and discovering things. It is fun seeing him find things he wants to play with and go and get them. He is not a fast crawler yet so I still can get away with leaving him for a minute to go grab something...but not for long! We love Paxton and we can't wait to see how he will develop and grow. Actually I can wait! I wish I could just keep him as my little baby for forever.

Perfect seat for Paxton

We found a perfect spot for Paxton right next to me in the chair where no one has to hold him.

Great Grandma

We went up to our condo in Winter Park while I was there and my Grandparents came up there too because my cousin had a football game in Colorado. Paxton was sitting with Grandma and just fell asleep in her arms. He sure loves her!

Off to Grandma's

My mom got Paxton this outfit and brought it out to Hawaii when we was like 2 months old thinking he could wear it when he was coming to Colorado in June. Well he finally fit into it when we were going over there 3 months later in September! It says off to Grandma's. We got first class both ways and all of the flight attendants loved Paxton. As you can see he got his first wings.

Goodness in a bottle

FYI--Costco is now selling Panda Express Orange Sauce in a bottle! I already picked some up and need to make some orange chicken now! Also I will be posting pictures from Colorado soon...but here is one to hold you over. Paxton DOES like eating, he was sad that he wasn't getting it fast enough from Aunt Dede!
