Todd vs. Michelle

Todd and I have very different taste in what we like to watch...tv shows & movies. Todd likes to watch scary/serious/war/gross movies, and Michelle likes to watch, as Todd would put it, "anything a 13 year old girl would like." I was talking about this with my sister and I came to the conclusion that I really like TV shows and movies that deal with high school students. Pretty much any show that is focused on high school students I will watch. The OC, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, I have loved all of these. I don't know why though? I know they are so unrealistic of how high school really is, but I just like them. I guess I just like to embrace my shallow side every once in awhile. I have been watching all of the seasons of One Tree Hill and it is one of my favorite shows, and I haven't finished the last season because I don't want it to end...Todd thinks it is pathetic, but I feel like I can still stay connected with it if I don't finish it yet. It is kind of pathetic I admit. Anyways, Brooke suggested I start watching this show Greek. It is about college students...so we will see if it has the same effect on me. Here's the cast of One Tree Hill: I just found out something cool. There is a girl, her name is Haley in the show and Bethany Lenz in real life, and she sings in the show, but she really sings in real life too. Here is one of her songs:

I got another job!

So Todd thinks that I have too many jobs, but two of them (the ones off-campus) are not very time consuming at all. I just got another job babysitting 3 kids. The hours are really flexible and they are different each week. I only worked for 3 hours on one day last week. This week I will be working 2 days...not demanding at all. The 3 kids are ages 11, 6, and 18 months. They are all really good though and that is why I enjoy it. Last week we just played outside and walked to the beach park, and watched 15 minutes of a movie and then the mom was home already. They have a nice house that is right across from the beach, they have a pool, and I am allowed to swim in it. I am not going to have my tutoring job once June comes because Danny will be out of school, so I will be back to 2 jobs.

Grades

Thanks everyone for keeping your fingers crossed for me...I got an A in that class. I got all A's and A-'s this semester. Todd did really well too. He got all A's and 2 B's. He took like 35 credits (sort of) this semester. 12 of them were from his internship, 6 of them were classes he just automatically got A's in because of his certifications, 2 of them he tested out of, and then 17 of them he took I think. He thought he was going to fail his Programming class, but he got a B! We enjoyed our week off. We really didn't do much though--we worked and rested at home.
