Who ate all the chocolate chips?

Paxton found the opened chocolate chip bag in the cabinet. He ate a ton of them, and he didn't even care that he was caught.

Booger Face

I used to think it was disgusting when kids had boogers and I didn't understand why their parents wouldn't just clean them off. Now I get it. It's annoying to do it b/c they always come back and then you just have an unhappy baby. Here is my sweet little booger face. It's a sequence of pictures, and it's one of the biggest boogers I have seen. He was mad that I did that to him.

Mom & Dad's trip out here

My parents came out to visit at the beginning of April & I loved it. We had lots of fun just talking, going on walks, playing with Paxton, going to the park, going to Leatherby's, going to the temple grounds, and whatever else we did. Paxton loves his Grammy & Grampy and misses them. He loved being tossed on the couch by my Mom, dancing with my Dad, and fixing things with my Dad. Paxton would do these really funny deep voices around my Dad since he has a deep voice. Paxton would especially use it when they were using power tools. Come back soon Mom & Dad!!

I just recently said there are not many pictures of Paxton and me. Todd took this picture today and I love it.

It is official

Paxton is now a 1 year old today! How did he go from this little guy to the cute little boy he is today? We are so grateful that he is in our lives. He has made our lives so much more fulfilling and fun (and busy).

Bike riding

Todd got a bike and Pax got a bike seat. He looks so dang cute in his helmet and has tons of fun on the bike. I am getting a bike soon so we can all go together.

Bday party #1

My parents came to visit and I am SO glad that they did. I had tons of fun and love spending time with them and Paxton does as well. He thinks they are pretty cool. We had a small birthday party for Paxton since they were here. The pictures are backwards, but here is Paxton laying his head down when we were all singing Happy Birthday to him. I don't think he knew what was going on.

The rest of the pictures are just of the decorations. I decided to try cake balls and Paxton really liked them. I will put pics soon of him eating them. I made the decorations and we had burritos, chips & guacamole, and chocolate covered pretzels and cake balls for dessert. Paxton got lots of nice gifts including a fake cell phone, remote control, an outfit, some toys, and a VIP pass to Funtastic play centers! He is one lucky boy.

He is growing up

Paxton is growing up right before our eyes. He is no longer a little baby. He walks, he tries to talk, he destroys, he loves, he laughs (all the time...he loves to do this fake laugh now). He is so much fun.

P.S. I made these pants for him. In the picture above they were not hemmed yet so I had them rolled up. I am proud of myself because it's the first time I have really sewed something with a machine.

My favorite pictures right now

I barely have any pictures of me with Paxton, so it is fun to have some with both of us. I realize he is wearing every color imaginable at the park, but it makes the pictures happier. He is walking anywhere he wants now...it is really funny to see.

Paxton Walking

Paxton has been able to take a few steps here and there, but today I decided to put our ottomans like this and we bribed him with m&m's (my cousin gave me the idea). The rest of the day he has been walking a ton more instead of just sitting down when he would try. It has been a huge walking turning point. We are proud of this little guy!

How are they related?

When I look at them they look nothing alike, but they are both cute. I'm blessed to have these two wonderful boys.
